Upon receiving a token of sincerity the Oracle will silently, automatically and instinctively consult the gods, God, unborn buddha nature, nature itself, or deity of choice, on behalf of her guest. Writing is then plucked by the Oracle from one of the books that surround her and clothe her, to bestow on the petitioner, who may then apply it to their quest, request, dilemma, or conundrum.    

The Literary Oracle can only allude to the future with words that have been written in the past.
