Kaylyn Kilkuskie

Like any creative person of many skills and interests it is difficult to encapsulate and name them all and claim them as one’s own. A Perennial Thread is sort of an ethos and the idea that things weave through our lives and sometimes have cycles of bloom, growth and dormant periods; its one part of an ecosystem and community.

Kaylyn studied the theatrical arts with a focus on costuming and lighting in an undergraduate program. Inside and outside of her professional work in theater and events, her observations of the world and the impulse to utilize forgotten or discarded materials into their next life informs a lot of her works.
